Yemen is in stage two of the demographic transition. The reason for this is because the life expectancy in Yemen is low compared to other countries, which means that its death rates are high. To add to the list of reasons, there is also Yemen's high birth and fertility rates. In my opinion, it would be a priority to increase the life expectancy of Yemen's population in order for it to enter stage three. The most effective way to lower birth rates would probably be birth control.
